Buy

Dayne Zorko
Was enormous against a hapless Gold Coast on Saturday and is now in line to be one of the top-scoring forwards this season, provided he stays fit. With a breakeven of 60, now is the time to jump on.

Jack Steele
$569K for the 7th ranked midfielder for total points scored in the competition to this point is a bargain. His breakeven is 114 so unless he goes huge against the Dogs this week he’s unlikely to jump up massively in price, but he’s certainly reached somewhere near his ‘floor’ price.

Dustin Martin
Dusty has had his customary price dip that we see from him every season, so now is the time to jump on. Looked razor sharp on the weekend, carrying the Tigers to a win against the odds. He’s the main man with so many injuries at Punt Road, and he looks to be embracing it.

Josh Kelly
Jelly is back in a big way with a 3-round average of 124 and a season-high score of 132 against Richmond. We know he’s capable of being one of the best scoring midfielders in the game on his day, so at $541K he looks like great shopping.

Jordan Ridley
Scored a solid 105 on the weekend to show that he’s over the concussion he sustained a couple of weeks ago. Still has a breakeven in the high 90s, so you’ll likely still see him below $500K next week if you have other priorities.

L. Jones (if named)
The talk yesterday was Jones was likely to play this weekend, but the question is whether he will come straight into the Power’s AFL side or slot back into SANFL level. He’s shown he can be a good scorer at AFL level and will likely have a good price rise on the back of his next game, whenever that is. If you’re light on for cash generating rookies, I’d be grabbing him if he’s named.

Hold

Dan Houston
All the noise coming out of Port Adelaide is that Houston will likely come back into the team on the back of an 8-day break. He’ll probably be managing that shoulder injury still, so keep an eye on his performances if he does come back to see if there’s any drop off.

James Jordon
Has to be the rookie of the year to this point! Has a 5-round average of 86 which has seen him jump from $217K at round 5 to now $360K. With a breakeven in the 30s, he’s still got more cash to make and should be held until the byes.

Sell

Toby Greene
Love him or hate him, you can’t deny he’s one tough bugger. Fractured his shoulder against Richmond on Saturday night and will now likely miss a month. Unfortunately he’s going to require a trade, but you could make money by trading him to Dusty this week.

Jack Bowes
Pinged a hamstring on the weekend and will likely miss 3 weeks as a result. He’s been a bit of a breakout defender this season but requires a trade if you have him.

Rowan Marshall
Time to put a line through Marshall for the remainder of the season in my opinion. The Saints big man continues to have problems with his body and will again miss a month with his troublesome foot. Have a look at him in 2022.

Tom Powell
The young Roo has been one of the standout rookies so far this season, but he’s maxed out his cash generation for now. A 45 on the weekend has pushed his breakeven to 106, so you can trade him with confidence this week knowing he won’t make any more significant money before the byes.
